September is here, and it’s the perfect time to enjoy fun, family-friendly activities in and around Philadelphia! From pumpkin patches to river adventures, there are plenty of free (or almost free) activities to keep your little ones entertained. Here are 8 things to do with kids this month:

 

1. Pumpkinland at Linvilla Orchards

Head to Linvilla Orchards for a day of fall-themed fun. While activities like apple picking and hayrides require tickets, simply exploring Pumpkinland and seeing the vibrant array of pumpkins in every size, shape, and color is totally free! It's a great way to get into the fall spirit without breaking the bank.

2. Beginner Guitar for Kids Intro Class

For the musically inclined, check out Temple University’s free introductory guitar class for kids. This one-hour session covers the basics of reading music and playing simple tunes. While the class is free, students must bring their own guitar and tuner.

3. Saturday Boating at Bartram’s Garden
